The Pinkfong Company, the global entertainment company behind the cultural phenomenon Baby Shark, announced its second partnership with McDonald’s Hong Kong to introduce the newly developed Baby Shark-themed Happy Meal Book campaign to invite children in helping secure the Earth, beginning Thursday, August 17. Key details of the campaign include the exclusive Baby Shark storybooks with a limited set of coloring games, a music video featuring Baby Shark with the global pop star Aaron Kwok(Kwok Fu-Shing), and unique on-site experiences at a newly built McDonald’s restaurant in Tai Wo and a one-of-a-kind McDonald’s Birthday Party.

The announcement comes on the heels of the successful collaboration between Pinkfong’s Baby Shark and McDonald’s Hong Kong for the Happy Meal Book Campaign held in 2022. With the second exciting partnership, The Pinkfong Company and McDonald’s Hong Kong will invite kids and families again to be involved in small practical actions such as saving energy, water, and electricity, reducing carbon emissions, and avoiding plastic products, to protect the planet based on the 3R keywords (recycle, reuse, reduce).

Starting from Thursday, August 17, anyone who purchases Happy Meal can choose between the Baby Shark Meal Books, which focuses on energy conservation, water conservation, and carbon reduction, and one of a new set of three children's coloring games, "Electric Boy", "Precious Droplet" and "Fresh School" as a gift at all McDonald's restaurants in Hong Kong from Thursday while supplies last.

Also, fans will be able to make precious memories with Baby Shark for their birthday. The Baby Shark-themed party decorations kit and space with board games, balloons, paper crowns, and invitations, will be offered to children who book birthday parties through McDonald's website. It will be offered for a year for no one to miss out. In addition, children can experience a wholesome campaign at the newly built McDonald’s restaurant in Tai Wo, which has received LEED & LEED Zero Certification, for successfully highlighting environmental messages through eco-friendly architecture. With Baby Shark decorations, children will feel familiar with and enjoy the new eco-friendly furniture.

Along with the on-site Happy Meal Book promotions, the special music video collaborated with the pop-culture star Aaron Kwok to promote the campaign will be visible on TV advertisements and Official Pinkfong and Baby Shark Youtube Channel, starting from August 22. The newly created song with a familiar Baby Shark theme will be easy and fun for children to sing along to and receive a message about protecting the environment.

Gemma Joo, Chief Business Officer at The Pinkfong Company cited, “We’re delighted to partner with McDonald’s Hong Kong again to invite kids and families to join the actions to save our planet and to build an environmentally conscious business partnership for a better future. Committed to making the world a better place through joyful content, The Pinkfong Company will always remember and fulfill the responsibility of the safe and happy future of children.”
